What to expect in your first treatment session?

Your initial assessment and first treatment will last typically between 45 and 60 minutes

For your initial assessment, we will need to know as much about your condition as you can tell us, therefore you will be expected to fill out a form about your medical history. Please, where available, bring any information you have regarding your condition including reports, scans, x-rays along with any support aids you currently use and exercise sheets where applicable.

The therapist will perform an initial physical assessment during which you maybe expected to remove items of clothing so we can assess the areas effected. We normally recommend you bring shorts to wear. We have male therapist at the clinic so as a female you are uncomfortable with this, please let us know you wish to see a female therapist when you book your appointments.

As therapists we will always explain what we are going to do during a treatment. If at any point in your session you don't understand something, or feel uncomfortable, please tell your therapist. It is not uncommon to feel some discomfort for a couple of days following your appointment, this may depend on what treatment has been provided.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events occasionally happen in everyone’s lives. However please note 24 hrs notice is required to cancel or change an appointment; this allows the opportunity for someone else to take the appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hrs notice you may still be expected to pay  50%  of the FEE for your missed appointment.

Arriving late

If you arrive late your session maybe shortened to accommodate appointments following yours; however payment of the “FULL FEE” still applies.
